How do I view my files on iCloud?

How can I view my files on iCloud. I know I had some content in the cloud a few years ago, will it always be there, or is it automatically deleted over time?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 10

You need a web browser and sign in with same Apple ID and password at www.icloud.com in iCloud Drive section it can be viewed , some conditions are met the cloud drive must be set up in iPhone https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/set-up-icloud-drive-iphbbcf8827d/ios and they should not be deleted to recently deleted folder ( as they gets erased after 30 days ) .

However the second way to view files from an iPhone is convenient than iCloud.com see the article https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/view-files-and-folders-iphc61044c11/ios

See this section - Where to find missing files .
