how do I transfer pictures from my iPhone to my Mac?

I need help in transferring my photos to my Mac.

You can transfer them via iCloud, or directly to your Mac.

If you have an Apple ID you can configure this in Settings on your iPhone. Just go to Settings, swipe down and tap Photos. Second item down should be the iCloud Photos button, which, when activated (green), automatically uploads your photos to iCloud. You also need to open the Photos application on your Mac, and then, in Preferences (under the Photos menu), click on the iCloud button and make sure that iCloud Photos is checked, along with Download Originals to this Mac radio button. Then, anytime when you open Photos on your Mac, your pics should appear (it may take a moment or two depending on your connection speed).
