Verification code

So basically im trying to sign in into the appstore in my macbook but everytime it shows me a message saying "an apple id verification code is required to sign in....."

now I actually don't know how to get this code because I only get a code at my phone number when I sign in on a browser and select send message to phone number. I also tried to disable 2fa just so I could sign in and then enable it again but there's no option.

Any fixes?
