MacBook Pro 13" Fan Running Loud During Google Meet Usage

My niece just got her new MacBook Pro 13" which she is using for her home schooling. However, whenever she uses Google Meet using Safari her MacBook fan starts to run loud. We're not sure whats causing this but I was wondering if bandwidth has anything to do with it, is it possible with better internet speeds this fan issue wouldn't happen? Also want to mention that there are many of her classmates during the meeting, does this also affect the heat of the MacBook? We wanted to take the device to the Apple Store and get it checked out but they're all closed from the pandemic. The MacBook is all up to date with the OS and she doesn't place it on pillows or a bed, its usually on a table top.

Hello Tommyvercetti,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

I understand that the fan in your MacBook is running really loud. I'd like to help!

Let's try an SMC reset.

You may also want to try an NVRAM reset.

If you're still experiencing the issue after performing the above tasks, then let's try Safe Mode.

Let me know if that worked for you.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care!

Back up the data immediately and be prepared for the logic board to fail entirely. Often there is no warning that a logic board is about to fail but fans starting and stopping for no good reason and/or random dimming/brightening of the screen can be signs. Until now I am only aware of this being a problem with the 2018 MacBooks but it may just take a while to be apparent in other MacBooks.
