I can't change date and time on my iphone 6s. set automatically is faded out and when I tap on time zone nothing happens. I am on the latest updated software 13.5.1. I tried resetting iphone, as soon as I loaded back all data, it went back to the wrong time.
If you have Screen Time enabled it forces the phone to Set Automatically. This is to prevent users from bypassing Screen Time limitations by changing the clock.
It gets the time and time zone from your carrier, so if the time zone is wrong you need to contact the carrier. If you are near the border of a time zone you may be connected to a tower across the border.
