keyboard click and text message sounds

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that you no longer hear keyboard clicks or audible alerts when you get messages. I’m happy to help.

Please go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Text Tone. Do you show an audible alert there?

Also, please go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Clicks. Do you see Keyboard Clicks enabled?

Please view the steps in the sections titled “Put your iPhone in Ring/Silent mode” and “Change ringtones, sounds, and vibrations” to ensure that the Ringer And Alerts are turned up: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
