iPad showing Photos using 1.5GB space... but iCloud Photos is turned on

I activated iCloud Photos about a month ago after upgrading plan to allow for it. Shouldn't the local device Photos app not be utilizing that space any longer?

Hi, I perform update to iCloud weekly , but for any reason, the latest photo are 22-Oct-2022, all rest photo are not uploaded to the iCloud, although I have enough space on the cloud. Photos in icloud on PC When i sign on to icloud on my PC .. my photos on my iphone are not showing .. i checked settings and backup photos is on ?
