CMYK in Color Picker appears broken

MacBook Pro mid 2012, macOS Catalina 10.15.4 running Pages version 10.0 (6748).

When selecting an object the Color Picker flips from CMYK to RGB.

Does anyone know of a way round this?

Custom color profile leads to artifacts in Catalina I just updated my Macbook Pro 15" to Catalina and noticed that the Custom color profile I have created leads to strange artifacts, especially the gradients around windows are not displayed correctly. This does not happen with the factory color profile. I have attached two pictures showing the issue. I have also redone the color calibration, but have the same issues with the new calibration as well. Digital color meter missing Using Catalina 10.15.2 on new Mac Mini. Everything okay. Just noticed Digital Color Meter is missing. All I have left is the alias in the dock. Search for Digital Color Meter turns up nothing. Any ideas? -- Whoops! Found it in Utilities. No idea why it didn't turn up in Search.

Running apps via Rosetta 2 makes colors vivid Hello, I had the same problem on BigSur, and now on Monterey. When running not M1 native apps (like Steam, Citrix Workspace, Anaconda... and others downloaded not via AppStore) which uses Rosseta 2 for emulation something makes colors in these apps not real and very vivid on a new MacBook Air M1. When I run other native M1 apps I don't find such a problem, colors are ok. It's like some incompatibility with color spaces. I think that when I run soft via Rossetta 2 it forces apps to run sRGB color space, but the screen of my Mac is P3 gamut (which is greater). Does anybody have the same problem and can I solve it? I added a picture, where on the left you can see how it should be (native M1 app) and on the right how it looks running via Rosetta 2.

Just checked this in Pages version 7.1 (5683) in macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.

Color Picker works with CMYK, so change happened after this version sometime.

I am not using the WP part of the application, I am using the Drawing part of the application.

WP is far superior in Pages '09.

I see no Pages application workaround that avoids the long running RGB fixation.

Use a Word processing application that works in harmony with the user, and allows said user to ultimately decide on the color model choice.
