I didn’t mean to put solved. But basically the Motorola can message and call me. I can’t text or call the Motorola. I have a friend with the exact same Motorola and I can’t text them either. But the Motorola can get messages and calls from about her iPhone 7.

If you can text to Android the problem must be on her phone. The Motorola and Android phones use the identical technology for SMS. If you are sending picture messages (MMS) that feature may not be enabled on the Motorola. It’s also possible that the Motorola has blacklisted your phone number.
