My laptop won’t shut down. Tried goce quit and power button and nothing. It’s stuck on dashboard screen. It keeps saying I need to quit Microsoft word and I can’t get to it. I tried my cursor on bottom where all apps appear if I Hoover over it and quit that way but STILL NOTHING. HELP!

Thank you so much. After reading your reply, I was like, “Hello! Basics”. But when I pressed the power button it would saying it’s already shutting down BUT NEVER WOULD. I didn’t think of holding the power button down. Thank you for replying. With all this online work at home, I really need my laptop to work. Thank you again! 😊
