DV to Thuderbolt cable requirements

What is the cable and adapter combination to connect a DV iLink socket to a Thunderbolt on my MacBook Air?

You will need a DVI to Thunderbolt adapter and a DVI Cable. I am assuming that you have the Thunderbolt port and NOT the Thunderbolt 3 port. IF my assumption is correct then you will need the following-


You will need the ➔ Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter. See Image Below.



You will also need the ➔ DVI to DVI cable to make the connection to your external Display. See Image Below-
