itunes 12.10.5.12: when I try to download previously heard and deleted podcasts, they do not download. How can I fix this?

I'm using itunes 12.10.5.12 and have two specific problems:

First, when I go to the iTunes store and try to download previously heard and deleted podcasts, they do not download. How can I fix this?

Second, when viewing my Podcast library, it doesn't show me what I've actually downloaded. It just shows me some already played podcasts and new ones I've haven't downloaded or listened to. I used to be able to see just the ones actually downloaded, played or not. Now it seems it's almost randomly displaying episodes.

I understand from your post that you are not able to download previously listened to and deleted podcasts. Also, you are unable to see what you have downloaded. Make sure that iTunes is updated along with your Windows software. Thes articles will provide you with information on downloading podcasts and changing the podcast settings which you may find useful:
