Hello, (Have tried Apple Support and viewed comments.)

I can mirror and work off the Display with the Pro, but the peripherals hooked up to the Cinema Display USB ports aren't recognized and there is no power going to them.

Malcolm,

Thank you for solving my problem. I now understand the reason why two adapters are required!

Thank you for additionally solving my multiple charging activities. That's a great use of the mag safe cable on the Display.

Given the 3 ports these 3 adapters take up - do you have any recommendations for either a) a multi port adapter that would work here, or b) a Dock? The web recommended this by Dell, but it's much more expensive than 3 adapters and I'm not certain it's right.

If you are want a dock, get one that connects to the computer via Thunderbolt 3, not just USB-C. For example, the USB dock you listed can't even run a 4K display at 60Hz.

I would also be wary of a dock from a Windows PC maker, such as Dell or Lenovo. There may be Mac compatibility problems, especially for multple displays.

The MagSafe charging adapter definitely can't provide full charging power to a 16" MacBook Pro, but it may be sufficient. If you put a heavy load on the computer, it may use more power than that adapter can provide, and will start using the battery, but in normal use, it will charge.

If you want to use the display's camera, microphone, and USB ports, you have to connect the display's USB cable to the MacBook Pro.

USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple

The Display ports are USB 2.0 so any disk drives using them will be limited to about 30MBs.

You can charge the MacBook Pro from the display's MagSafe with this adapter.
