My touchbar is going Crazy!

The issue I have off late is that when I start up the laptop Apple MacBook Pro 2019 2 thunderbolt 13 inch and it loads the log in screen the touch bar goes mad! It's as if a ghost is playing around with it. The brightness, volume, keyboard light, Siri and everything else gets pressed on its own and it happens violently I've never really faced this issue before. First time it happen I was able to shut the laptop down, as soon as I started it again the same issue happen but even more violent. Any idea what this issue is?

Hi there, docfleurant.

I see that, after your 2019 MacBook Pro reaches the login screen, the Touch Bar on your Mac begins to act on its own, and I'm glad to help with this.

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac -- Reset the nonvolatile random-access memory (NVRAM). Review the information under "How to reset NVRAM" before you begin.

How to use safe mode on your Mac -- If resetting NVRAM didn’t resolve the issue, restart your Mac in safe mode and see how the Touch Bar responds. Then apply the steps provided referring to the information below:

  • If the issue occurs while in safe mode, follow the steps under "If the issue continues in safe mode".
  • If the issue doesn’t occur in safe mode, the steps to use are under "If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode".

If you started your Mac in safe mode, please get back to me with the results after you've applied the appropriate steps mentioned above.

Take care.
