I lost my quicktime file.

I lost my file. I pressed cancel instead of sharing because airdropping would be too long. I had not saved it yet. Once I pressed cancel, the video disappeared.

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.15

When you close an unsaved file, it is gone beyond recovery.
