what is the default password for airport express base station model a1088 ?

hmmmm.. public is the only default that is available.

Press the reset for one second which is soft reset.. I think it should work even on an ancient model like the A1088 and it will then allow you access for 5min.. during which you can change the password.

To do a full factory reset hold in the reset before applying power and keep holding in for 10sec.

I have one of these ancient Express and it did not require any password to access.

How are you currently accessing the Exress?
