My apple tv app freezes during shows and movies. The audio continues but picture is frozen then app closes. I purchased this 2020 MacBook pro a week ago. Why is this happening? I have good wifi, good bandwidth and no one else is using the internet when I'm on. This is obviously either an app issue or system issue. It should not be happening!

There isn't a way to uninstall the TV app in macOS. However, you can reinstall macOS using macOS Recovery to help isolate the issue further. Please make sure you create a backup using Time Machine before doing so. The articles below can help.
