iOS 13.5.1 update created "no Service" once installed on my 7 iphone. Can't find out what to do to resolve this issue. Displays "No Carrier" on cellular in General. Need some help

I have managed to get it back working as a telephone!
I did the following steps:
Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again

Phone just jumped back onto the network again...

It’s probably not your phone. See my post above yours.
If you read the thread before posting (or at least page 4) you would discover that the problem is a network outage and nothing that you do on the phone can fix it.
Can vouch for that, it worked for me too.
It still updated to 13.5.1 when it finished but operating back to normal.
Perhaps the update should have been applied while charging.
And if you read TODAY’S posts you will see it is people on Vodafone in the UK and Verizon in the US, both of which had major outages today.
No this does not work for most users. Certainly isn't for me. You may well loose it again soon. What network provider are you with and which country?

No, it's apple. I'm on Verizon and the service works when I put my sim card in an old phone pre-update.
It just might be worth taking the trouble to read the two posts right above yours.

True. Might be more than one cause of this.
Exact same issue happening with me on iPhone 7 after installing iOS 13.5.1.
I tried ejecting sim card, reset network settings and event resetting iPhone completely.
