Question

My audio during calls stops after a couple seconds.

When I make or receive a phone call (AT&T), after a few seconds, the caller can no longer hear my voice. I can hear them. The microphones work fine. I've successfully recorded my voice with Voice Note and iMovie. The problem is only during calls.

A few months ago this happened and I had my SIM card changed. This solved the problem for a bit, but the problem reoccurred this week. I had the SIM card replaced again and the problem persists.

I can make FaceTime audio and video calls with no problem. This is only while making voice calls over cellular. Anyone else have this issue? Any advice?

It sounds like you've done the appropriate steps to troubleshoot, based on the recommendations in If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working - Apple Support. The results of your troubleshooting indicate the issue is possibly related to your iPhone connection with the AT&T network, and you can use the below steps to troubleshoot

that:

Check for, and install, any available iOS updates: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
Check for, and install, any available carrier settings updates from AT&T: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.
Reset your Network Settings under Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This step won't remove any of your stored data, but it will remove previously saved WiFi networks and passwords, as well as any APN or VPN settings.
