iMovie

I am planning to delete imovie to free up space in my macbook air but i still need the projects so later i will download it so i can work on it again, will it delete and the events and projects?

The post by apfelkopf is correct. The projects are stored in the iMovie library, not the app. Just be sure that you do not delete the iMovie library or you will indeed lose your projects. As a side note, deleting the iMovie app is going to free up only about 2.4GB. If you are that tight with free space you might consider purchasing an external drive to store some of your data.
