Airpods Pro loose hinge

Hello,

I've seen many other posts that are similar to this one but are different in a few key ways. Firstly, my AirPods Pro case and my 2 other cases (This is my second replacement) have been loose. By this I mean that, along with the normal side to side motion that causes a click sound, there is also a twisting motion that can happen with my lid. By this, I mean that, if you were to hold on to either side of the AirPods Pro charging case lid, and try to move it front and back, it will do so the same amount as the side to side motion if not more and have an audible click similar to the side to side motion. This can be done at the same time in opposite directions which is the twisting motion I'm describing. Every time I have had a replacement, the issue is very slightly noticeable out of the box and gets worse over time. This leads me to think that it's something that I'm doing rather than a case defect. However, and this is my issue, I am babying these AirPods and doing nothing out of the ordinary. In fact the worst that i'm doing is lightly tossing them onto my bed from less than 2 feet away (barely enough to bounce them). They become worse over night at that and I don't even touch them when I'm sleeping. So what am I doing wrong and how can I fix the issue? Is it a temperature thing where the metallic hinge is shrinking when it gets cold at night? If so, will a case fix it? I've also posted on reddit with practically no responses and have asked people who say that they don't have a similar issue even from the models bought around launch. Any help is appreciated.
