I am working on a memorial slideshow. I've input all of the pics and added 4 songs (mp3) to the record slideshow area so that all 4 songs would play during the slideshow. The songs will not play and I've tried everything. Help!

is sound playing correctly from a webpage iTunes or from the sound file played in Quicktime player? test using the built in speaker output to bypass any connected sound equipment:
go to: Apple Menu > System preferences > Sound > Output
