Dictate what I Type.

My Macbook continuously dictates what I type while dictation setting is off. ??

Dictation ??? My MacBook announces every letter I type and then pronounces the word when done. I can't figure out how to turn it off. Dictation is off and so is voice over. Help please ..... and when I enter/return it says "new line". It announces everything.

Dictation fisical key (on F5) won't work when you swap the "special function keys" to "function keys" on system preferences.... I think this is a bug. this on Macbook M1 Pro, if I press fn+F5 nothing happens if I revert "function keys" to "special function keys" dictation key works just fine. am I doing something wrong?

That isn't Dictation. That is Voice Over, and is controlled in Accessibility preferences.
