Cellular on Apple Watch

Does the Cellular on Apple Watch need another phone line?
Or, does it use the same line with the iphone?

It uses the phone's line, however if you wish to activate cellular on the Watch, it will require activation with your carrier, and most carrier's charge a monthly fee. In the US that is $10/month. The Watch has to have cellular activated on the same carrier as the iPhone, and it uses the same number.
