apple pay refund

hi, i purchased items from PrettyLittleThing.com using applepay - my parcel eventually got lost in transit and they issued a refund to me which they’ve said got processed on the 5th June. i still haven’t received this money in my bank?

i was just wondering if apple pay refunds go back onto my debit card or if they go some place else(?) which sounds ridiculous but i’ve checked my bank statements numerous times and the transaction of the money leaving is there but no money has been returned and they’re adamant the refund has been processed. please could someone help me i really need this money back asap. they said i needed to contact the applepay team about this but i can only find a number to ring (no live chat or email ect) and i have bad phone anxiety so would preferably like to avoid this at all costs. just wondering if someone here could help/offer advice?
