Hi.
I was wondering why I can't have the News on my MacBook ( I'm in Italy) even if I do have the app on my iPhone, neither if I try changing zone nor language settings. May it help using a VPN re-locating my IP address in the US in order to have the app downloaded?

Apple News and Apple News+ are available currently only in USA, Canada, UK and Australia: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204411
If I remember correctly, only a widget version of Apple News is available in Italy providing general news updates on daily basis (without any subscription or customization).
We can't discuss any workaround here. On internet you can probably find articles addressing this topic, though...
