Need help resetting my daughter Apple phone it’s an 11

I’ve gotten to the point where the plug shows it’s plugged into the computer and the computer restoring it but then the computer tells me it can’t do it?

Rebooting my phone I have been having trouble trying to reboot my mother’s phone. It will not connect to iTunes (I just installed the newest version) to reset the phone. When I use the phone to connect diagnostics it asked me to go to a website for help. So how can I reset the iPhone 11 with or without losing any information on the phone?

Restore phone without iTunes Hello. I have an iPhone 8 that belonged that belongs to my parents. They managed to get the hone into recovery mode and it's currently locked in that position. Without downloading random software from the internet, can anyone advise on how to reset the phone without using iTunes.
