My Apple ID

Hello! I keep getting notifications about my Apple ID. My phone had me change my password for my Apple ID. I thought I’d be in the clear once I changed my password but then I got a notification that said my Apple ID is being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new Apple Watch? I do have an Apple Watch but it’s not new and I didn’t just set it up. I’m worried someone may have my information and is using my Apple ID. I’m not really sure what to do? Thanks

iPhone XR, iOS 13

If you recently changed your password, that probably generated the message you are seeing. I've had that happen to me several times.

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. As a precaution, change your password.

Apple ID device list -Check to see where you‘re signed in.

 Apple ID Password Change.
