MacBook Freezing on Video Conferences (all of a sudden)

Zoom worked fine on both my laptop & desktop before I moved.

Now in my new place, I cannot run a meeting with audio and video at the same time. The video freezes.

Internet speed up and down is fine, actually a bit faster than before. I've removed & re-installed, restarted, downloaded the latest version.

Also happens on Google Meet.

Please HELP! thanks for any tips.

Hello aefulcher1,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. As I understand, since you've moved, you're not able to participate in video conferences on your MacBook since you've moved. I'm here to help, so let's take a look!

You've already performed a fair amount of troubleshooting to this point, so we'll look at some more involved information and troubleshooting.

With Wi-Fi issue there can be many variables that can factor to the equation, especially from one location to the next. Here is an article I would recommend on steps to isolate the issue:

Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

Also, you may consider testing in a new user account to help further isolate the issue:

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac

Hopefully this helps!

Cheers!
