iPhone freeze

Hello, my iPhone is stuck on support.apple.com/iphone/restore, I tries to do a software update via iTunes but I keep getting error 14 message.

I do not want to restore because I don't want to lose my important documents on the phone and I have not backed up.

please how do i handle this and save my documents without losing them???
