new OS problems

Just downloaded the new OS and many of my lower toolbar icons have stop signs on them. When I click on them a popup box tells me to go to the app store to download the latest version. When I go to the app store it tells me I have no updates.

Should have checked what apps needed updating before upgrading your OS. The big thing about

Catalina was that it would not support 32bit apps, we were told for two years this would happen.


Use this app, https://www.stclairsoft.com/Go64/ it will show you what apps you have that are 32bit

or have 32 bit elements, and there will be the web address of the developer so you can contact them to

see if they are supplying 64bit updates.



The lower toolbar with your app icons is called the Dock.
