have to restart the computer to get lg 5k monitor to work
I have the new 2020 13 in Mac book pro connected to the 2019 lg 5k monitor. I have to restart my computer every time to get the monitor to turn on when idle.

Thanks for your post! I understand you need to restart your MacBook Pro in order to use your external monitor. Has this always been the case or has it just begun? Have you tried using a different port on your MacBook Pro?
