Hello, does anyone of you experience the screen not turning off when pressing the power button on you right? The way to shutdown the screen is to press the Voulme Up button by release immediately then power button on the right and so it would be to shutdown the screen.
It does not happen always but most likely about 1 out of 50 times when you're done checking your phone and need to shutdown the screen.
Please help.

It sounds like your side button isn't responding and you have to press the volume button and the power to turn off the display. Check out this link for when buttons are not working.

I had removed my casing due to this issue when I thought the casing might be blocking the button but to no avail. I still have to press the volume up button then power button to turn off the screen. It only happened once or twice in a day.
It’s a 2 months old phone. Should I send it back to Apple centre for a checkup?
