iPhone XS Max broken back glass
So my back glass broke and I am aware of the fact apple will send me a new phone once I work out the pricing and everything, but will it still be an XS Max or will it be a different model?
iPhone XS Max, iOS 13

It’ll be the latest unannounced iPhone, not yet available for sale, right?
But seriously, the replacement will be the same model and same capacity.
Apple typically maintains and repairs products for at least five years, and sometimes longer as required.
The folks at Apple strive to forecast for and to maintain spare parts and refurb stocks sufficient for warranty support.
If Apple can’t repair or replace with a like model for some reason, that’ll then be discussed with you, and you’ll likely be provided with a different, equivalent or better, option.

Okay great, that’s actually really impressive of them and thank you and for your knowledge of apple
This isn’t specific to Apple.
Pretty much every organization involved in production, distribution, and/or sales, will manage their supply chains these days, whether they’re a manufacturer building products, or grocers stocking store shelves with food, or organizations otherwise.
Some organizations will maintain the necessary stocks in-house for building products or for warranty requirements, while other organizations will contract with suppliers to maintain the necessary stocks. Some other organizations don’t maintain stocks, assuming they’ll be able to acquire the items when needed.
The supply chain is some of what was exposed with COVID-19, too, where demand massively increased persona; protective equipment stocks of masks and other medical gear, and for stocks of bread flour and other grocery items, and supplies just weren’t sufficient when everybody sought to purchase. And few organizations seemingly had assured-delivery contracts or had in-house stocks already in place for certain key items, organizations not the least of which were regional and national governments.
But again... maintaining parts and supplies stocks isn’t even remotely unique to Apple.
Thank you, I was just curious because I thought apple doesn’t carry the XS Max anymore and I was just wondering if they were going to step me down a model
