web storage connection

Hello I have a usb storage on my Linksys router. I can access the folders in the storage from my phone, windows pc, and TVs. But I cannot access from my Mac.

If I try to connect to smb://192.168.1.1(storage address) with the correct username(admin) and password, the window is just shaking and cannot connect.

How can I connect to the usb storage on my router?

Server Connecting I am currently running a 21" Mac with OS 12.3. I have been trying to connect to a USB drive connected to my Motorola router. I have not been able to connect this machine to the USB drive on my router. I can however connect to my USB drive on the router using my older Mac running OS 10.13.6 Both of these machines are connected to the same router using the Ethernet connections on the router (Not using Wi-Fi) There has to be a setting I am missing on my newer Mac that I am missing. MacBookPro Retina 2014 connects to internet, but not home network MacBookPro Retina 2014 connects to internet, but not home network. I can surf the web, but I can't connect to other computers on my home network, using Wi-Fi or ethernet via a Thunderbolt Bridge connected to the MBP. There is no Network displayed on Finder windows on the MBP. I can see the MBP on my MacPro. I can mount the MBP drive on my MacPro desktop, but some of the folders that I can open show no contents, even though I know there are GBs worth of content in them. Notice the twirlies in this screen cap that show several GB, but no contents: Permissions for this User folder are set to Read & Write. I'm sure my Sharing and Network settings are correct on all devices. It was working before. Now it isn't. I reinstalled Catalina 10.15.7 on the MBP, and that made no difference. Also, if I try to mount an external drive connected to the MBP, I get this error message:

networked Hard Drives won't connect I can't connect to other Mac drives on my network, keep getting "The operation can’t be completed because the original item for [whatever drive I've sleceted] can’t be found."

Hmmm, 192.168.1.1 is the IP you use on the others?

Normally the last .1 would be the Router itself, not something attached to it.
