I can’t get my phone and iPad to pair. It says iPad is unsupported. Is there a fix for this? I have a 5gen iPad and an iPhone 8plus.

This has never been possible.
What are you trying to do that you trying to direct Bluetooth pair an iPhone to an iPad?
I was hoping to get my contacts etc moved to the iPad.
This is expected behaviour, as there is no supported Bluetooth protocol to pair the devices to each other. What are you hoping to accomplish?
