google apps not working properly - ssl error?

My iPad is running 12.4.7 and Google Chrome will not let me search on google saying that there is an ssl protocol error.

Google earth will not load and google maps is not operating correctly.

Please can you suggest any actions to resolve this issue.

I recently installed Disney plus, but have now removed this app, just in case this was the cause.

I also removed and reinstalled Chrome. The problem is most of the time, but intermittently Chrome can access Google, but v rarely.
