i am trying to get HDMI to play through my display port and be projected on my macbook pro. how do i do this? thanks

I want do play my Xbox 360 on my 2015 macbook pro while traveling. I have display port to HDMI adaptor. How do I get my xbox to project onto the screen. Thank you!

Help with Mini display HDMI adapter Hello, I recently bought a Mini display HDMI adapter for my I Mac, I got the adapter so I could connect my Xbox one to my I Mac when I got it everything plugged in fine but I was confused on how u get my Xbox display on my I Mac? Because I want to see my Xbox on the iMac but I don’t know what I need to press to be able to or what buttons or settings can anyone help?

The MacBook Pro does not have any display INPUTS. You will need a TV set.
