Lost pages in a pages document

I have lost 3 pages from a 60 document constructed using pages. It is a word processing document and has text and photos on the missing pages.

Can I find the missing pages ?

Potentially, there are three approaches to recovering the missing pages. Make a backup copy of the current document. Open the original document with thumbnail view, and visit File menu : Revert To menu. If you have not opened and saved the document since those three pages went missing, then try the Revert To : Previous save entry, if present, or choose Browse All Versions.

The Browse All Versions view will show the current document on the left, and historical versions of the document on the right, where you can step back in time, either with the incremental adjustment arrows, or by sliding the red bar on the graduations along the right of the screen. If you know the date that the three pages were lost, that will help narrow your search. When you find the document version that has those missing three pages, then click Restore.

Above is one approach, or if you have been using TIme Machine regularly, you may be able to restore your entire document from a past backup. Ensure that you are in the same location as your original document, and then launch Time Machine. A series of Finder windows representing previous backups will be focuses on the folder you were in when you launched Time Machine. Locate your document, and step back in time. Here, Quick Look (spacebar) on a document icon will allow you to inspect the document for those missing three pages. When you first locate the prior document with those missing pages, then click Restore.

Adn finally, If you sent that document containing the three missing pages to anyone, have them send a copy back to you.
