Smart Mailbox

I set up a smart mailbox but the emails still show up in my main overview. My goal was that emails from a certain sender go straight to the smart mailbox and don't show up in my main mail box to reduce clutter. Am I missing a setting?

No, you are not missing a setting. Smart mailboxes help you to go straight to mails you created a smart mailbox for. For example, mails from this forum. You'll still see the mails in your inbox.

From support.apple.com: "If you change a message in a Smart Mailbox—such as marking the message as read or unread, or moving or deleting the message—the change is reflected in the mailbox where the message is stored."
