System fonts are barely legible at 6K resolution

Is there anyway to make the system fonts (menubars, titlebars, those not configurable within applications, etc.) a legible size in Catalina while running at 6K on a Pro XDR monitor? The fonts seem barely legible at best and the only option I have come across is to run at a lower resolution.

No, the Mac OS has never been an active desktop, also known as resolution independent. The only way to control the menu and app font sizes is by choosing a different monitor resolution.

Using the full 6K setting will always and only result in minuscule text.

You are referring to something similar to this, yes?

I have to assume you mean the center, selected button as shown in this image since you specifically said "Default". That would be, as I mentioned, about half the monitor's native resolution.

If you meant the other radio button, Default for display, that will simply result in the monitor's native 6K resolution.
