"The information on this page is outdated." Error 5002

Well, error still there so I was pre-mature in thinking that storing iTunes pwd in keychain fixed my problem...it didn't!

Does Apple ever read here? Or is this Apple Users Anonymous?
A little sad, there is so little (rephrase to "no") actual help from the source...

This has been happening to me for quite some time. I finally thought I would look here for an answer. Annoying, very annoying....

Ditto. I have the current (at time of typing) version of iTunes, 10.0.1 for Mac, and all the latest OS updates etc, and I'm still getting this irritating message. It is annoying. Please fix it Apple people! The new version, 10.1 is due out any moment, so fingers crossed it'll be one of the fixes...

....and one more with the same problem. Starting to make me more than a little crazy....

Same problem here. First time ever and I've been using the iTunes Store since the beginning of the year with a variety of machines: iPod Touch, iPad, PowerBook G4, MacBook, iPad, and now an iMac.

Very annoying, as it comes on top of no longer being able to log into the Support Discussions through Safari (am having to use Chrome).

Anyway, have tried quitting iTunes and restarting, but to no avail.

Same here. Can't believe so many people have been experiencing this and there is still no fix.

Not sure if this is too soon to call it, but it seems not to be happening in iTunes 10.1, installed last night. Will have to keep watching for the next round of app updates to see if it happens again.

Side note -- one workaround that I got used to doing (aside from just clicking "OK" on the error and then doing download all again) was to download just one of the updates (usually the smallest app, if there is one), and then do the download all when the first app completes. No error message occurs when I do it this way, and I have one less click to do.

I hope you're right! Because it was definitely still happening to me with the 10.1 beta. 😟

Using 10.1 final now... fingers crossed...

Just tried after the 10.1 upgrade and all updates loaded correctly without any problems. Hope it's fixed permanently.

Nope... on my second app update today, I got the same "outdated" message. So it was not fixed. 😟

I updated iTunes today with 10.1 and did not get the message when downloading app updates. I hope this continues and is not a one time occurrence!

Argh... problem persists in 10.1!

Unfortunately, I spoke too quickly. It still happens. GRRRRRRRR!

Seems this issue has not a very high priority on Bugs to fix. Disappointing.
