Free trial of Apple TV+

Dear Apple team,

I added a free trial now, because it said I can have a „free year of Apple TV+“, please see screen shot attached. 

And now I get a confirmation only for one week. Could you please explain me how it works?

Redeem the year offer on your new device in the Apple TV app. The year offer will be on that device only (but you can use the service on all your devices after signup).

Redeem the year offer within 3 months. The offer will not be available anymore after that time.

If you qualify, and if you did as described in the guide, and you still do not get to see the year offer, then contact Apple Support. They can assist in getting you the service, if needed using activation codes.

Restarting the phone isn’t going to change anything. This is connected to your Apple ID now. You must not have activated it correctly and selected the 7 day trial in error. As per the terms of not qualifying for more than one trial, there isn’t much you can do.


Apple does not respond here, so we can’t help with your account. You are free to Contact Support to see if they will grant an exception
