Need to transfer the photo and video to the pc

why am I not able to see all the photo in DCIM once I connect the phone to the laptop , only 61 is visible out of 2000 photo

Can't import photos into Photos App (Catalina) I suddenly can't import photos from my iPhone (14 Pro & 7 Plus) or even Downloads Folder to Photos on Catalina. It was OK a few months ago, but is suddenly not working anymore.
