setup cannot continue because outlook isnt configured to have a default profile win 10 - SOLVED

Hi,

It took me a day to figure out but if you are having this problem try this:

You will likely need to download a legacy icloud version (this did it for me). The current one doesn't let you run in compatibility mode (or I couldn't figure it out).

get that here: http://updates-http.cdn-apple.com/2020/windows/061-95246-20200518-8BC0437C-9923-11EA-981C-47481553BE55/iCloudSetup.exe

(You need to uninstall icloud then install the version from the link above, legacy version)

Then you can right click and set it up for 8.1 compatability mode like in the first link. then run the new (legacy) Icloud and it worked for me.

It's inconceivable windows/apple haven't fixed this but oh well.
