Hello all,
I am running Numbers v 5.1 and Pages v 7.1 on a 2017 iMac with macOS 10.15.5 Catalina. I see that there are an update for each of these applications, but when I try to download the update via the App Store, at the very end of the download I get an error message saying 'could not download at this time, try again later'. This has been happening over the last few days.
Any suggestions on how I might resolve this issue?

Try deleting then re-downloading the apps.
Thanks so much @Peggy. That indeed was the issue. I made the mistake of 'copying' the apps over from my 2013 iMac running macOS Sierra, to my 2017 iMac running the latest macOS 10.15.5 Catalina. Even though I believe the Numbers and Pages apps are the same version for both OS, there is probably something lost in translation when copying apps. This is something I have learned not to do, but I got crossed up by impatience this time.
