I used to have a macbook 2015 8GB
128GB, dual core and worked on final cut pro
I’ve never experienced it freezing
Just few days ago I spent thousands on macbook 13 inch 16GB 1TB quad core
and it keeps freezing every few minutes????
why is that?
I paid all that money for smooth working
and I get this on my first week???

There is a known problem with the 2020 13" macs and FCP X.
It is going to require an update to Catalina, FCP X or both.
Here's hoping that with WWDC next week there may be updates coming soon.
Did apple talk about this?
I have the same problem... Its been more that a month with my new Mac..... its impossible to work
