Battery draining while charging
Hello guys, I recently got a new Macbook Pro (2020, 13') and noticed that its battery is draining while charging every day (also, nearly at the same time) until it reaches around 90% capacity and then goes back to 100%. /Meanwhile, the power management system indicates "Normal" state of battery and "Battery not charging". /
I use the original power set and I have already checked that it is not related to the usage of certain power-demanding apps and have tried different power sockets.
Furthermore the Full Charge Capacity is steadily dropping down compared to the days before. In addition to that, even on 100% the Charge Remaining is significantly lower than the Full Charge Capacity, despite using the laptop mostly plugged in.
I tried resetting the SMC several times but it did not make a change.
I was wondering whether other people have the same issue or whether this could be part of a natural process that keeps the battery's chemical reactions going or is it a reason to be concerned?
/The laptop has been used for the average time of a normal user for roughly 10 days./
Thanks in advance!
