I have the 128 and my sister, the 64gb.
just grabbed both in hand and opened the camera and switched to the front.
to my surprise, I saw two different results. My phone had a better camera! More true to life colors, just better overall.
are apple selling different storages or more than that, different phones under the same name?

Double check the settings on each of your iPhones. Do one of you have a filter applied automatically to each picture?
The only difference on your iPhone should be the storage space. Other that that both iPhone XRs contain the same hardware.

Things such as Portrait Mode. Was one of the pictures taken with Portrait mode? Was one of the pictures taken with PHOTO mode 1x or 2x ratio?

I only checked the camera settings and they were the same. No filter either. What else should I’ve checked?
