Since update to OS Catalina I cannot use Siri more play music. How to fix this?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re no longer able to use “Hey Siri” to play music since upgrading to macOS Catalina. I’m happy to help.

Please check to make sure that you have the latest version of macOS Catalina installed. Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Software Update.

If you’re using the latest macOS version, please go to System Preferences > Siri and remove the checkmark. Once you’ve done this, please go back and add the checkmark. Are you able to use Hey Siri as expected?
